SlicedBread is an effort to bring together a collection of skills related to various aspects of Product Management as practiced in the real industry. These are skills that have been learned the hard way, across various kinds of products, spanning a diverse mix of organizations.

More specifically, technical Product Management requires a deep understanding of the design, architectural choices that are made, as well as a clear sense of what the R&D dependencies of an idea are, and how these may be accommodated in the road map. These skills are also extremely valuable to any stakeholder in understanding the idea from the execution standpoint – be it technical, usability challenges or its impact of the team structure and related hiring requirements.
